I always loved crystal castles but strange thing is that It reminds me a very traumatic period of my life. Pain of growing up. End of the childhood. Getting destroyed by the ones you love, trust... Shattered hopes about being truly loved by someone ever again.

Best version of this song on KZfaq. For some reason, changing the speed on this song 'loses' something that I love about the song in the first place. I'd rather listen to this version. At least I can get some of the feeling of 'Kept'.

I always end up going back to them when I'm in a period in my life where I don't know I'm depressed or anything but then I look back on the time period and it was miserable at best, it's odd. Its the same with a couple artists too. I think it's cause these couple artists are my comfort and actually help me thru traumatic events or depression waves, it's weird how human brains work oh God now I'm falling down a rabbit hole of overthinking lmaooo

For some reason this resonated with me heavily. They are one of my all time favorite bands, but when I’m listening to them regularly I get incredibly depressed and it feels like it’s at periods in my life where everything around me is very unstable.

It might just be an effect but theres scripts you can run/make that will make videos look like that. Video-to-ascii is what came to mind when I saw this although it isnt ascii
