That was an awesome vlog Kritika. Kerala has mountains (Wayanad, Munnar), Beaches (Kannur, Kovalam, Calicut, Alapuzha), Backwaters (Kumarakom and Alleppey), Cosmopolitan Cities (Kochi), Cultural Hub (Trichur) and so forth. You did capture the essence of Kerala very well. A huge shout-out to Atul his family and Maria as well. Glad you had a nice time.

Synagogue in Kochi is the oldest one in the British Commonwealth and is more than 400years old. The Floor is laid with mosaic tiles, no two are similar.

Brian P Alvarez Kochi is a harbour city with rich heritage. Alleppey is a lagoon and man made canals connecting to Kollam. Beautiful villages sarrounding Alleppey. Some kilometers north of Alleppey has the villages call Kattor and Pollathai. It does have Beautiful beaches with creek. Rich heritage of hindus and Christians. Less crowded

Both in history,as well in our contemporary times ,Cochin is an important landmark here in India. Especially in trade. Its called the " Queen of Arabian Sea" for a reason. Coming to its rich history, the first Jewish community in Kerala landed here in the shores of Cochin when they arrived here after the destruction of the second temple of Jerusalem. The then king, cheraman perumal bhaskara Ravi varma,gave them 72 houses for free( houses means,large ones meant for joint families to live) and gave them right to collect taxes on spice trade along with Hindu Nair's ,Syrian Christians and Muslim " rawther' traders. The synagues here are the oldest in the commonwealth of nations. The saga of Jewish heritage is just one shade of the pluralistic Kerala,specifically Cochin. More stories line up in its Hindu,Christian and Islamic past. The kings who ruled Cochin were always pluralistic and were keen on the welfare of its people,especially to maintain its fabric that holds together all its different cultures. With all that, - a sweet mix of the old and the new( Cochin also has some of the best hoputals in the country where many from outside come for treatment) , Cochin,like most other cultural hotspots of Kerala,is worth a visit. Trust me you'll never forget it n those would be some of the best days in your life.

You guys should try kayaking instead of just sitting in the boat. There is one kerala kayak who conduct sun raise tours in Alleppy back waters.
