I'm a Malayali, but honestly pooram is not that great a festival in my opinion..it's absolute animal torchere..so many elephants are made to stand in the heat and made to listen to the high decibel sounds of fireworks...it's honestly not that great... people need to be more sensitive and not overlook certain things...sure pooram is a great festivity, but can surely get away without the elephants...so please stop romanticizing it..:)

Unfortunately not anymore....all our southern states are losing their culture for Christianity and all these traditions of south are going to vanish in few more decades.. look at our andhra pradesh.. christian missionaries are converting telugu people into christianity and this is happening on a massive scale.. all our telugu traditions are going to extinct soon....

My God in Heaven... South Indian men are so gorgeous. South Indians are very beautiful altogether. I ❤ melanin in all its diverse shades, but the deeper the melanin, deeper the roots. I'm a Foundational Black American Freedmen (aka African American) and I would love to visit India. I've always had a fascination with India since middle school. I love Indian food, especially South Indian food. I like spicy food. I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in Texas. Where I live there a lot of Indians. I drive Uber sometimes and when I have Indian passengers, I play Indian music and they are very impressed. They tend to be reserved but tend to open up a little when you know something about their culture. I guess in their eyes I'm an oddity because they probably haven't met many Black people that like Indian music. Music is an international language. It is something we all understand regardless of where you are in the world. Okay, I will end here. I didn't intend for this to turn into a symposium. 😂❤😊

Though I am from Maharashtra, my first preference for tour was, is n will be Kerala. I love that God's own Country. Before leaving this world, I will visit Kerala. Definitely. I am not willing to go abroad. But wanna visit two countries. Between them KERALA is at first place and Sri Lanka is at second. I like to listen Kerala folk music, like to follow it's culture. Even mostly l dress like Kerala people ie veshti, shirt.
