പ്രദീപൻ മാഷിന്റെ അനുസ്മരണത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്തതിന്റേയും മാഷിന്റെ പ്രഭാഷണം നേരിട്ട് കേൾക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാത്തതിന്റേയും വിഷമം , അന്ന് രാവിലെ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ നടക്കാനിറങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ കല്പറ്റ മാഷോട് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. പ്രഭാഷണത്തിൽ മാഷെന്റെ പേര് സൂചിപ്പിച്ചതിന് നന്ദി. പ്രദീപൻ മാഷ് നമുക്കിടയിൽ ജീവിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും. ആ പേരിന് മരണം ഇല്ല.

O V Vijayan who refused to meet Indira Gandhi, considered Karassery as his young friend. This alone is sufficient to recognise the stature of Karassery as a human being.
