There is some kind of microphone overdrive at the right china.

That's the Go Pro capting the vibration from the China cymbal stand.

Too much gain on the right overhead probably. China is about the loudest cymbal on the kit so it will give a distorted sound.

TOMMY sass jr. Who dafuw uses felt when wood and plastic exists???? the only reason to use felt is if you use triggers and don't actually need a physical sound...

China sounds weird, pretty sure that was a issue with the mix, any way, nice drumming krimh! ☝🏼️
@Luemm3l8 жыл бұрын
no it soudns really that crappy... the mix is also off a little, but it does sound that "bright" I like Meinl, they make some of the best cymbals, but somehow I think most of their chinas soudn like shit lol
@dirtyswar7 жыл бұрын
Luemm3l sounds cracked or plies are splitting at the edge
@BW_Drums7 жыл бұрын
No way, Meinl make incredible chinas. The Sound Caster, MB10/MB20 and Byzance series have incredible china cymbals. This one sounds strange due to either the GoPro being mixed with the microphones or the vibrations for the cymbal stand.
@gaspar-animal-ribeiro54143 жыл бұрын
You have dudes like Alex Lopez (who in the meanwhile switched to Zildjian), Alex Rudinger, 66Samus, Betto Cardoso, Gartska and many others that use Meinl and they get a smashing china sound. Tbh I think it's really the choice of the model. I've been following Kerim for a solid 8 or 9 years now, and I've never been the biggest fan of his chinas. Still one the best death metal drummers to ever do it, in my opinion

Some unbelievable pedals called Czarcie Kopyto, but if you're like me and live in the United States good luck getting some.. For some screwed-up reason they're not sold in the US and I don't even think you can get them shipped here... Hopefully one day soon they will be, Until then Trick pedals will have to do..
