Kerry Livgren is no quack. He is a very smart guy. Smarter than I. How can we so easily dismiss a mans life search for the truth? I'm in that same barrel going down the niagra. Don't want to go over the falls, but like Kerry said, we want the truth, even if its not what we want to hear.

Thank you, Kerry Livgren , You are a super star and a hero to many for you being a Chritian and your wonderful account of , testimony of Lord Jesus Christ in your life . Your music and band Kansas have been played since I was in the Air Force, 1981 and on. Terrific is your music and life. God , Jesus continue to bless you and yours!

Kerry Livgren discovered what God wants from all of us -- a relationship. Not religion, not ritual, not perfection. He became flesh, and died for us to make it so. Awesome journey wayward son... you discovered your Father -- waiting -- watching -- ready with open arms.

That made me cry. Usually hitting rock bottom leads to humility & surrender; Kerry was at the top but still empty and searching.

I've been into Kansas since the early 70's and funny thing, I always thought their music was Christian Rock based without knowing if it was or not. I seemed to be reading between the lines of their lyrics and got a very Spiritual connotation from it. Anybody else?

Kerry always been my example in music,when i was a kid his music was everything for me,i'm a guitar ,keyboard and drum player thanks to him,everything i know in music,the way i play and my compositions are like Mr KERRY LIVGREN. Only one thing never match between us and the name of this was JESUS.i was into any type of religion but CHRISTIAN?NEVER EVER!! Today 18 of march two days before my 47 years i realized that love JESUS so much and i'm a SUPERCHRITIAN!!! AMEN>>>

Regardless of what you think of his religious conversion ( I am agnostic, at best, but have great respect for Kerry and the path he chose), make no mistake, when it comes to Kansas, and the music that we know them by, Kerry Livgren WAS Kansas. He either wrote, or co-wrote virtually everything we recognize by this great band. Without Kerry Livgren, very, very few of us would have ever heard of a band named Kansas.

I just watched the Kansas documentary and that consistently kept pointing back to Kerry's genius as a music writer. But now I see that he was speaking out of the turmoil in his heart. I wish I could have heard how that conversation went in the back of the bus.

I became a born-again believer in 1975. When you ask Jesus to be your Savior and forgive you of your sins He comes into your body and starts changing you from the inside out. He gives you a different out look on life and changes your desires!

The path is narrow, many don't seek it. Carry on wayward son.....There'll be peace when you are done.....
