This was the day during which I discovered gaelic football. What a great game it was! From a keen italian Mayo supporter :)

4.50 Brilliant defending by m o'se....so intelligent, caught 1 on 1 in space in a dangerous area against a quick forward....doesn't dive in and overexpose himself, shadows brilliantly, doesn't give brogan the chance to shoot on his favoured right foot, allows his teammates to get back and block up the space. So many other defenders would have dived in for the ball, brogan would have skinned them and goaled. Just top class play by o'se....a masterclass for any young defender

Actually Gaelic football have never been better than it is today in skill, commitment and competition. Though it is fortunate or unfortunate whatever you leaning that Dublin have been overwhelmingly dominant at the senior all-Ireland level these past six years.

@@jamesdolan4042 yeah garlic football is brilliant with 15 men behind the ball you don't see high long ranged catches in midfield and long kick pass into the forward line anymore gaelic football is more soccer than gaelic football with the sweeper and the need to put enough men behind to stop the opposition rather than score

@@jamesdolan4042 A lot of short/hand passing and sideways football these days. Gone are the days of long passing and actual fielding.
