This new album is awful... Only redeeming song is happy .. it was almost like they tried to mix her old music sound with her new style and it just doesn't work

@@simplekid4328 interesting, I feel like High Road was an album that had mostly done that intentionally. The only songs I’d say have inklings on her previous style is Only Love Can Save Us Now and Peace & Quiet, though I’d argue they are still forward-moving songs in her discography as opposed to reverting back. I actually really love the new album; Eat the Acid is currently my favourite Kesha song by far. But it matches the other types of music I listen to with its electric psychedelic sound and it’s definitely the type of music I’ve been yearning for kesha to do, especially with the raw emotions of writing on this record that I appreciate. But when it comes to an artist like Kesha where there are these contrasting sounds and personas throughout her career, I think it comes with the territory that people will gravitate more towards certain projects! And that’s the beauty of music and art anyway - everyone is going to have a different relationship with each project and share a different journey one has with an artist with different expectations and moments that resonate more than others!

She died in 2013 with Warrior. Rainbow is a good album, but it doesn't reach the incredible level of Warrior, High Road is a mix of good and bad things it's very meh/bad, Gag Order is boring (I understand the concept, BORING)
