This is a detailed tour of my Art studio space. In tis part 1 I go over my own work space, how its organized, and how I use it in the most efficient way possible.

Nice place to work. Reminds me I still have to finish my art room. Been working on it for over 3 years now. haha I have a tiny one, but I can't work in it. It just holds all of my art supplies.

I've got two of those wooden mannequins. Every artist seems to have one. I think they're more for "decoration" than to serve any purpose. (I think they're too inaccurate and not flexible enough to use as drawing/posing reference). I guess it's to go in your studio to make you look more... "artsy". LOL

I could watch you draw for an hour. But just an hour, for some reason. I always take something away from what you do as much as from what you say. In this video, it’s that freakin’ table you sit on! Genius. I sit in my behind all day, too, and my back pain has gotten worse since working at home due to COVID. This hack, though...could improve my life! Thanks for sharing.

Do give it a try. It was a night and day difference. Also, make sure you don't fold one leg for too long while keeping the other down. Might develop knee pain.

this is the most fun studio tour ever... 😆 i was looking for inspiration on upgrading my desk setup for digital art youtube streaming... and i'm just looking for a minimalist one. The others are just either they got way too many monitors that they do not need and not to mention the room becomes hot because all those monitors and also tons of unnecessary lighting that hurt my eyes, and stuffy room that got tons of ...just stuff. So yours definitely minimalist. I love the fact that you work 90% on your ipad. And your simple setup works. Even though you said it's not minimalist..... ummm ok... i would categorize it as functional minimalist 🤣

Ooo, looks like a great studio space! I was wondering why you were using that bench at your desk but turns out it's a coffee table? XD Whatever works. Why don't you store your old sketchbooks on the bookshelf? That way you can use it as decoration and it'll be more convenient if you do want to look through them. It'll also free up that drawer so you can put other things inside.
