She ain't lying, I witnessed her tell folks her name is Keshia. I was at CAU while she was at Spelman. I never even bothered her because she was just being a student like the rest of us. I never understood why folks just couldn't let her be.

Many years ago, I used to go to Keisha’s hair salon in Virgina that her mom managed. All the hair stylists, were awesome and wouldn’t expect anything less. Unfortunately, I moved away and had find new hair salon.

Shout out to Keisha, I went to school with her St. Leo’s Catholic School in Irvington NJ I was in 3rd grade she was in 2nd grade. I never seen her since then but I’ll never forget going to school with her way back in the day.

@@JM-qg9bo there are a lot of things I remember from starting with my teacher Miss Wanda in her nun habit like sister act, also when we had to go to mass and because my dad was a pastor I asked him if it was wrong for me to go to mass….The fact that my parents bought me fake Addis sneakers and my classmates laughed at me for have 4 strips instead of 3…The fact that it was the year my grandfather died 1985 to in VA, which is also the year we took a family trip to Canada…Oh yeah I asked my dad why did a rainbow fall into a puddle of water and he told me that’s an oil stain from a car…this is also the year my father bought a 1985 Chevy Impala and everybody thought he was a cop. So let’s get to the “memory”at question, cause I can go on about my last year being at a Catholic school before having to go to public school when I moved up to 4th grade the following year…she would come to school in a 1985 Lincoln Town car I know cause I asked my dad what kinda car it was because I thought it was a limo…The one and only time I spoke to her was when we took our class bathroom break and we all had to walk in a line to use the bathroom and as my class was passing her class we all said high Keisha and she waved back at all of us. The was literally the last time I spoke to her since 1985, I didn’t even know she lived in Irvington until this interview honestly which is the town I grew up in too, but we would just see her come to school and on TV Thursday nights. So please don’t question my memory cause I have a lot more I could say but that’s enough of my business you need to know. Go in grace 😎

Seriously? If you know your history you know it's not just Atl, DC, NY, Jersey. Cut it out there's beautiful, intelligent, rich, talented MELANATED people here now and deceased, from ALL over the world. God didn't just make DC or Atlanta! We stay in our feelings about goofy shyt. It's an opinion, like what I'm typing I believe, but I understand this is my opinion thus I'm not in my feeling about what we have in Atl vs somewhere else. SMH... RME

Love your Podcast ❤. I was clicking through my KZfaq and the Podcast scrolled across my screen. Great heartfelt interview with Keeshia Knight Pulliam!! Side note, I've been watching alot of her movies during the holiday season. The Cool Soror I felt I could be a part of the conversation. Did I mention I'am not a Soror😮 and I didn't think I could relate to the Podcast. After watching I felt your sisterhood. The conversation reminded me of sisterhood within our daily life. I know some great Soros. They loving, fun, funny, real, giving, sharing, inspiring and family. Did I mention, I'm 61 and as I'm working on goals for 2023 for my season of life. I want to add joing and becoming a Soror. What is the first step should take? Should I gain more info on the history and search out my area chapter? I will check out all the Podcast and let my family and grandchildren they have to at least one and they will be hooked. Great work to you and the team.

Definitely look up the national history but also look at the state initiatives and follow chapters in your area on social media to see what community service they are involved in. Share your interest and when they have public opportunities definitely come out to support.
