I've been saying this everywhere but kitsch is the definition of grower! Like it was confusing at first but the more you listen the better it gets!! All the girls worked really hard for this Can't wait for the title track and album on 10th! Also I hope you guys check out their song royal and my satisfaction too!! Rei and gaeul always write their own raps and these two songs really showcases their skills!! Also this is a b-side!

This song is such a massive serve, it hits so hard. And I agree, it’s so IVE but still different and when you think about it, that’s literally all their main songs, none of them sound alike but STILL keep that IVE identity. IVE is for pretty hot people, if you get it you get it. 💅🏼

This is a pre-release the full album comes out in april with 11 songs. They performed 2 other b-sides "Not your girl" & "Blue Blood", where she has a lot of parts :)

@@dgnj-mg8ts Okay they're all b-sides but this one is the pre release which makes it more likely to be promoted, not the other ones. Promoted tracks are more important than b-sides that get no attention, they're a way to build up expectation for the comeback. People assume what the title track will be like based on the pre release and going by this and other songs people think Liz will get the least lines again next time.

So, normally I'm turned off when k-pop songs overuse English words, especially in the chorus, my Western brain can't help but cringe a little. For some reason, this song works for me, and after a few listens I'm really enjoying it.

For those in the dark, kitsch is a 19th century German word for cheap art form that nouveau riche would buy to pretend they're classy. The whole lyrics basically is a clapback to the haters, "it's okay if you think poorly about me, I will enjoy myself in this cheap life". Ctto Got that explanation from another yt channel I also think one part of the song is for their haters who criticize them for winning song of the year award (love dive). The pre chorus 'everyone copies the way i dance. pop up on your algorithm everyday! Other idols and netizens do their dance on tikotok and other platform it went really viral especially the narcissistic part. Then wonie or yujin said 'cant control how high it goes its a crazy score. No one can expect this nineteens kitsch. Like their saying why are you doubting us the score and how the song went viral tells it all.

South Korea needs that. The way women are treated there is backwards - if Korean women and girls are feeling empowered by this music, then that's what matters the most. Kpop is for the korean audience first, then the international audience. I grew up in the west with this kind of music and 'girl power' yet I'm still not bored of it. I think girl power will never be boring. If you want to listen to their elegant songs, so back and listen to it.
