I'm relatively new to diet ideas. I tried to just eat healthier, didn't work too well. Tried going to the gym frequently, too much got in the way. Tried keto, lost 3-4lbs within the first week. Somebody mentioned your channel on reddit and I peeked at a few videos and immediately got hooked. I've already made a few recipes I've seen here (fathead pizza, tomato sauce, pesto eggs, cucumber sandwiches) and printed many to try (mac and cheese, sqoodles, cream of mushroom soup). I just want you to know that you make such a huge impact on peoples' lives. I've followed you on KZfaq and Facebook already and I get so giddy whenever you post a new recipe. You make this diet so much easier and I really appreciate it!~

Keto works GREAT for weight loss, but just be aware that first 5 lbs is all water and glycogen so it'll come back within 2 days off dropping off the diet. When you're monitoring weight loss, always subtract that first 5 lbs. :)

Yes you do lose water at the beginning but the weight will start coming off very soon! Best diet to loose weight fast, eat healthy and not be starving yourself!! 👍🏼Good luck, just remember to keep very good track of your macro and never exceed on the Carbs or your body will jump back to using sugar rather than fat for energy. 🙏

Yes 3-4lbs of water and glycogen weight. That's not actually that much, very small amount of that will be fat. Fat loss is simply calories in vs calories out, YOU CAN NOT TRICK THE FIRST LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS. You will lose fat by consuming less calories than you burn, it does not matter whether it's doughnuts or carrots.

I love you’re recipes with spices makes the food much better, also I like the way you present it all like if you have it ad it or if you don’t then this. By the way my mother was born in India and we had lots of curries while I grew up and I’ve worked in India on pipelines back in the sixties loved the people. I’m 80 now and kicking type 2 diabetes with the Keto diet since December last year and intermittent fasting and good food, thanks to you, it’s slowly getting under control. Thank you for your great cooking show, I’ll eventually buy your book when I’ve saved up enough.

Just discovered your channel yesterday and subscribed immediately (I'm a "horn-y" guy myself, pun not intended, and started on the keto diet a few days ago). I tried your soup today and let me tell you, it's the best soup I've ever made! I made some extra so I could save it for tomorrow, but my kids, who aren't soup lovers by any stretch of the imagination, both begged for second helpings. The skin on the stem of the broccoli is thick h it peels off the stem beautifully. Sooooo much tastier with out the stem skin!

Quick and easy, that's what I need. My kids are not big fast food fans and its gets difficult to find health "hush puppy" meals until dinner is ready. Not to mention cooking for them and then cooking for me. This is a perfect, healthy starter; a cup and some croutons or toast. They don't need keto at 15 but the health benefits are through the roof. I used bone broth instead of stock, and it was great. I think I used a little too much, as it was watery at the end. I just added about 1/2 c of Parmesan cheese, and it thickened it up, making it super rich. So good, thank you!

I'm planning on making this recipe this week for my family!! Somehow, I could just tell you are a really good cook....I really liked the way you didn't let any food go to waste, you used stalks and all...I tried this recipe today, and it is sooooo good!!!! 👍

Tried your recipe today and it turned out soooo good!! My husband usually doesn’t like soups from cauli/broccoli family since its mushy kind, but your idea to add florets at the end kept the crisp bite to the soup. Perfect and complete soup! (Just added few bacon slices on side ;)
