I just remembered a buttercream frosting I used to make: - 1 package cream cheese (8 oz), softened - 1 stick butter, softened - 1/2 to 1 C "sugar" (to taste, and now Keto, of course) I have to make those "Oreo" Choco-waffles now.

The chicken parm was really yummy! But then KZfaq sent me another similar video and the one thing she did differently was to put some cheese underneath it, and also on top of it to make it crispier. She did a tiny bit of parm cheese and then mozzarella. I might try that tip next time ( which there will be). Thanks so much for helping those of us that don’t do TikTok.

SeriousKeto says that Oreo recipe takes more like a Hostess hoho. He recommends using black cocoa powder to achieve that authentic Oreo flavor.

I simply whisk 1 egg and divide it in mini waffle maker, making 2. No cheese, just a fun egg waffle to use like mini street tacos! I put avocado in it or even scrambled egg, or made a ham and egg sandwich. It puffs up and looks just like a chaffle with cheese! The nooks in it hold the low carb syrup beautifully! When I’m over-cheesed it still fills the bill!

Black cocoa powder is what is used in Oreo cookies. The first time I got a wiff of it I thought, “Oh yeah! I remember this’! It makes all the difference. So does butter cream icing made with butter, vanilla and cream. You’re right! This would make really nice mini cakes! I love the chicken Parmesan idea! Great for dinner in a pinch.

I found that when I crumple my wet paper towel during Dash Mini cleaning time, it seems to get into the nooks & crannies better. I’ll be trying the Chicken Chaffle for sure. Thanks Ladies….

@@McAuliflower YOu are totally correct. It's not oreo without the black cocoa. I always wondered what made oreo taste so different than other chocolate... this makes so much more sense now. I'm still trying to figure out the middle though. I'm not a fan of the cream cheese frosting, it takes away from the overall taste.

Serious Keto uses Black Cocoa in his Oreo Chaffel. His eval says it tastes more like Oreos whereas regular cocoa tastes like a Hostess product(sorry I can't remember which one since I LOVE OREOS...ANYTHING DARK CHOCOLATE!!!) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! I JUST STARTED KETO 3 WEEKS AGO AND HAVE LOST 14LBS! STARTED @ 300lbs! THIS IS THE LIFESTYLE CHANGE I HAVE NEEDED! THANK YOU FOR DOING SUCH AN AWESOME JOB! INSPIRATIONAL!

I tried the oreo one and it was pretty good. The chicken one was really good. I added a little more cheese and used less mix to make them crunchier. 👍🏻 Then I used the rest of the chicken, added cheddar cheese mix and rolled it up in a low carb tortilla and fried them like a taquito! Really yummy! Great video as always🥰

To me, the term "Chaffle" is any type of keto/low-carb recipe used in a waffle maker. If it is not low carb, it is a regular waffle. 🙂

I just made these last night! My daughter's way of eating keto is much like yours and mine is a little more indepth. These were AMAZING!!! We froze them and they were magically ice cream sandwiches! I really like the chicken chaffle, too. It does taste like chicken parm to me. I've been making pizza chaffles lately, too. Essentially, I use your chaffle recipe, with the addition of a little garlic powder and italian seasoning for the crust. I discovered that the Hunts tomato sauce which comes flavored with Italian seasonings makes a great sauce for these. I haven't tried the Oreo chhaffle yet, and in fact, this is the first time I've seen this one. I'll try it,... It does look decadent! Thank you. (Your videos are always fun and light-hearted....just what we want!)

You need to use Black chocolate to get real Oreo flavor. Makes all the difference. Oreo makes soft cakey ones too.

Thanks for this video! Had to try the Oreo chaffle away with my after-lunch coffee - so quick and yummy! Amazingly has a cake texture without any nut flour nor any cheese! I'll be picking up some canned chicken to try the other recipe .. you two are the best!

Yes I make that multiple times but use a lot more canned chicken. I also make a pizza crust out of canned chicken too; I cook the crust on parchment paper, then flip and make a little more crispy then take out, add the sauce and topping and a VERY light amount as cheese as so much is in crust!! Super yummy.

I love this video so much. They both look amazing! I make mini pizza crust with egg, mozzarella, parmesan, and Italian seasoning. I don't know the measurements, I just eyeball it. That is what the chicken one reminded me of. I've gotta try it with chicken!

Winner winner, chocolate dinner! I made these for dessert and they were a hit. I made the cream cheese frosting with powdered swerve and some heavy cream. My hubs was thoroughly impressed!
