I wonder if the EVENT has any Ethnic, oriental and Indian sounds and Drum kits in the Factory sound banks and also any Styles using these sounds and /or drum kits?

No, but the AjamSonic package does have some Indian kits and sounds like Tabla ...etc.

Hello good afternoon. Thank you very much for your videos, they are really useful. However, I would be grateful to know how to record on multitracks at Ketron Event, I've seen many of your videos and haven't found anything, if it were possible I would appreciate a video explaining how to do it. There are 2 ways to record - you can use OVERDUB (fastest) or use the STYLE EDITOR (thus video we will produce in the near future). Liveguitar Zouk is beautiful! :) But I see small audio issues in your video overall.. I hear crackles...

Yeah ... the issue was the volume on the sound card was mistakenly set too high so it peaked, especially when the Zouk was being played. That issue has been resolved.

hello i have a few questions about the ketron. can you use the mono portamento legato in the style creator? can you also use scala tune in style creator? can you use the audio bass or the audio guitar in the intro so that it plays my notes? what about the samples how do you load them in via usb?

Thanks for your great explanations. I‘m a Genos player. Is there a mode like AI Fingered available in the Event to play e.g. 6/9 or 7/13 chords with 3 fingers ? And what‘s about slash chords?

Yes, there is. We are also updating the chord table yet again with more AI chord types/modes.

Hi AJ , great video series , I have question all my Sounds Instruments from my SD9 it has the format MS2 each user instrument , and on the Event the INSTRUMENT it has the format of MS3 , Does the Event can read the MS2 Instruments from my SD9 ? In the manual of the Event ( The maximum number of instruments that make up a Sound Bank is 31 ) only 31 sounds ? it's like SD9 , why to limit the slots if the Event has more memory and more cabability to take more samples ? when the Event is planing to Expand to more Slots for your own samples it's like a metter of software update ? thanks

We are working on an upgrade which will allow EVENT to be able to use SD9 Pro sound sets. For now, you will have to re-assemble the waves in the EVENT sampler manually for it to be accurate ... :-(

ketron does not have an independent equalizer for midi accompaniment like other brands such as korg where you can individually equalize any of the parts. In my opinion, this is something basic that should exist for a keyboard like this.

There is separate EQ for audio parts (Bass, Drums, Chords) and the rest of the tracks, but not for all individual tracks. Yes, many arranger keyboards do miss basic functions that are found in others and this is true for ALL brands in the market today. This is why you have to choose the one that best fits your needs - non will do 100% of what you want, so choose the one that does at lest 75% and hope that future OS will bring it closer to 80%.

One keyboard (via MIDI in2/Kbd) will do.
