ABOUT THIS SERIES:
For centuries the nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.
In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.
I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.
With each episode, we shall be studying the impact of the North node and South node of the Moon via placements in the natal chart, 'Navamsha' (D-9), 'Dashamasha'(D-10), 'Shashtiamsha' (D-60) and transits. I will expand into the other divisional charts as well but let's hope and aim to fulfill the primary objectives first.
ABOUT KETU IN FIFTH HOUSE in birth chart
Whenever you have the South node of the Moon 'Ketu' in the fifth house of the birth chart, that shows us that one of the primary strengths of your soul in this lifetime is creativity and expression. This placement is the placement of an individual who are naturally inclined towards applying their innovative ideas towards the betterment of their life and power.
Holding the limelight, center stage and position or responsibility of power and authority comes naturally to such individuals and is something these individuals naturally gravitate towards. It is not surprising therefore that a lot of performers, film stars and celebrities have this South node placement in their chart.
Some people say that if you have ‘Ketu’ in the 5th house it will take you away from your children or cause some form of separation or problems with respect to them however that is not entirely true.
You see these individuals have a natural understanding and intelligence wrt to handling matters related to children and parenthood. They can also be naturally very expressive and romantic.
Even so, it is possible that an over indulgence in matters of the 5th house may cause ‘Ketu’ to create problems that push the individual to move in the direction of their ‘Rahu’ in the eleventh. Problems related to progeny may be one of them.
The trick to understanding and working with the energy of the South node ‘Ketu’ in the fifth house, is learning how to balance your natural expression with your ability to bring people together, build relationships, form connections and multiply your sources of income and public dealings.

thankyou sir ,like always insightful and enlightening! finishing my rahu md -rahu ad , these past 3 years hv been full of loneliness, failures and gloom. faced separation in romantic affair; got a fun ,bold personality yet even after trying hard unable to manifest stable close friendships and of course apathetic to my graduation degree along with a disappointing college life. its been a ride and im slowly coming to terms with these lessons , they hv made me humble stronger n wiser and learning to chanelise my extreme expectations, desires and emotions in the efficient positive way. i hope this placements leads me to d places i deserve.

Great advice - "Leaving your ego. Going out and seek some collaboration to achieve a common goal". I have been struggling in the same lines from past 10 years. Ketu in 5th and Rahu in 11th. Partnered on few projects but loosing interest or getting hurt and ending up on a home based work, mostly on egoistic reasons. This has become a repetitive cycle during almost half of my Rahu mahadasha. Great prediction and valuable insights !!

Spot on! During my childhood i was such an attention seeking kid and while being bullied was one thing, at 18 my life changed. I did complete studies but I HATED every second of it, i always thought it was so useless and in fact turned out to be like that. I am soo good with communication and languages as i am fluent in few foreign languages. I am always contemplating my whole life and can only function alone, i tend to be a deep thinker too. Also i see the truth in people and the lies too ... nobody can fool me. Along with ketu my saturn is also there in pieces so while i try to focus on job/studies and be patient, ketu is throwing me away in spirituality.. tough!
