I cried a lot in this part. I bursted when she cried for her father outside after she found out. I relaxed but cried again when her father went to her mother’s grave….first time I ever seen this movie again in the 2000s and it hit me hard, emotionally. I was a kid back then and didn’t realize the emotions…. Such a pretty woman expressing emotions and crying is so adorable….

Because of her, I named my daughter nkauj hli 😅 she was soooo beautiful when I was a kid watching this movie.

My favorite actor is the chunky little baby…so cute.

In the early 90's as a teenager, watching this movie I thought she was a gorgeous Hmong girl and I watched it just to see her all 4 parts :) in every scene she is in.

The Actors in the 90's acting skills are more genuine compare to today's garbage acting.

if i was nkauj hli i wouldve dumped him bc why would he be taking the other girl out to hangout at work (even if he canceled it or not) while knowing his wife is pregnant and about to go into labor. that to me is a red flag just saying 🤷‍♀️ and not the mother in law apologizing..smh.. i would not have accepted it or let it slide like that. lol ps. this was my favorite childhood movie but some parts of it just gets on my nerves lol
