"Knives"?!? The two upright aerofoils, on the spoiler? They probably aren't necessary, when you have the downforce of a human onboard. But the second your weight isn't pushing the thing down (even just momentarily, from bouncing around, while you're still on it, going 40mph), it becomes way more dangerous WITHOUT the traction, control and stability they provide.

Literally thought you'd be just chillin on this thing, and BOOM! Balls to the wall and let's go! I am more impressed that someone would make a 1/3rd scale Top Fuel to begin with. This is a much better use of this chassis. Either I am past my death-wish days or it is because I have kids, but you gotta gear up some more. I said it. Dude someone who has been in 1/5 scale drag racing for a minute this is probably the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. That frame was made very well. The whole setup was clean. The only thing i think could be made better is the rear wheels. They could have a wider track to give more traction and less chance of flipping.
