He was still relatively young when he got out. He should've had a decent head start in life because of his business acumen, and experience at such a young age. He just went about gaining the capital to start his businesses illegally, and that was the reason for his downfall. He was still fortunate to be young enough to come out and get his life back on track and become successful despite his serving such a long sentence. Many don't have that option because they're too old to be seen as an asset by potential investors, or business partners after spending most of their lives in prison.

Met Kev in ‘96-‘97 in Allenwood, PA where he was sentenced to serve. One of the most humble, unassuming, and mild mannered men I’ve met. He was emotionally intelligent and he is being one hundred percent accurate and truthful, he was never bothered by a soul nor did he during that time. His demeanor was that of a don. I’m not surprised at all by his post incarceration success. I had no idea he was the legend he was until years later. Side note…..the man could ball. Ripped me twice in a row bringing the ball up court and actually has some handles.

This gentlemen Kevin chiles very well spoken and articulate a lot of respect for this gentlemen.

I'm glad to have found an interview with this gentleman who I never really knew about even though I'm familiar with his magazine. My body was locked away for eleven years myself, I as well never was really in there mentally because I read voraciously. Didn't know the founder of that magazine was in prison.
