4 ай бұрынAfter 17 years as Kevin Cronin’s guitar tech, in May of 2019, Steve “Smooth” Summers became gravely ill with pulmonary fibrosis. He was pulled off the road by his pulmonologist and told that he needed a lung transplant. Smooth had a bilateral lung transplant on April 17, 2020 and since then, Kevin and REO have sought creative ways to help him build a new life including the "Time For Me To Fly" Collection!
Bid now on a beautifully painted guitar by Smooth himself, played by KC on stage, AND that will be signed and personalized to the winner! Also up for auction are paintings with handwritten lyrics and signed by Kevin plus signed postcards, t-shirts, and hats are for sale.

CONGRATULATIONS on your second life Smooth!! Our friend who never smoked ended up w/ PF in both lungs at 63 yrs young. His planets aligned & FOUR days before he was slated to go into Hospice, a set of lungs were available to him, at the loss of a young girl. His mission was clear; take care of his precious gift & honor the donor. Kevin, you continue to be amazing.....we're not old, we're seasoned. Even back in '74 when you guys did the Ozark Music Festival in Sedalia, MO, you hung in there & survived the 100' sunshine & the 200K + fans.

Smooth, so glad you are doing well. That must have been really hard to endure on you and family/friends. Lovely work!! I could never afford one, but if I could... KC- keep rockin'! You all still sound incredible. When Hi Infidelity was released, I was 12. Always got that one swiped or my nephew got a hold of it in his little walker and had the tape strung out in his pathway. 😢. However, that is one I would always repurchase . 😂 I hope to see you in concert before you quit for good! Please come to Arkansas!! Much love ❤️🤍 *edited bc of the darn spellchecker*
