@@MongSinuMarmaMong Different playstyle, Modric is a box to box midfielder, more of a dog in the midfield, fighting for loose balls. De Bruyne is more of an attacking midfield, an orchestrator and is always involved in offense.

@@flaviobiancolli9569 bro kdb can whip magic out of nothing, modric is more of a cm who plays a bit farther away from goal, besides kdb had to feed sterling ,jesus and mahrez with passes who missed most of those beuatiful balls, kdb has better vision and passing and shooting than modric. modric is world class but still is short of de bruyne

KDB is just a pure genius. What a footballing brain. Some of his passes are just breathtaking. The way he curls the ball round a full defence with the perfect weight for his teammate to tap it in. He's definitely 1 of the best player's I've seen in the premier league and he's truly world class. City payed something like 55 million for him. That's definitely 1 of the bargains of the century. If he was sold now when City bought him, he would cost 150 million and that would be worth it. A genius. That assist vs Stoke for Sane was incredible, he took out 4 of Stoke's defence with a brilliant curling ball on the ground, perfectly weighted for Sane to score.

His crosses come really really nasty in to the box and small box area. I mean, it's a nightmare for defenders and the keeper. And De Bruyne is seemingly one of the better players to cross like that.

I agree with you, but that competetion is almost always won by people who play in the South of Europe, that's the Ballon D'or culture. And now with Messie being World Champion it's not even a contest anymore (allthough it should)

@@Slrzn de bruyne is my second fav player lmaao. But tbh now the media is kinda surrounding Haaland and him breaking records. And it’s his best season so far. On the other hand KDB has been amazingly consistent and the journalists aren’t excited for that, because they got used to it.

But this guy is juist built different , he is the best midfielder in the history when it comes to the danger zone on the pitch... its not even a debate , it does not even come close , this guy has supernatural powers. just watched this after seeing his last game with Chelsea and can't believe how much he's improved. I mean, there're a lot of players that would perform that badly and never recover from it. But this guy; he not only recovered, but also landed a spot as one of football's midfield GOATs.

KDB in his prime is so so serious. He's one of the greatest midfielders of all time. You don't need a trophy to get an accolade. Zidane has only one UCL, but Iniesta has 4. Not the difference. KDB is a genius of a player. Even if he doesn't win a UCl, his UCL heroics won't be forgotten, and this is the third season that he's the best midfielder in the UCL

He is like a weird hybrid you don't see often. It's like watching Beckham (crossing/curve/ spot the movement in the box before it is happening), Pirlo (deep play making/lazy passes), Kaka (gliding past opponents with a quite tall slender body) and Lampard (scoring abilities). Of course they had it in extremes. Hence, the hybrid.

His strength is you have no idea what he's going to do being just as good with both feet...when you think he's going yo pass to the outside he kicks the ball with the outside of his foot and curves the ball in the corner where you can't reach it. As a fmr goal keeper those are the most difficult balls to get to, low over the ground to the corners.. Kevin(my compatriot I'm proud to say) masters it like nobody else...
