The “role player” response was pure genius. A true hooper. A lot of people wouldn’t understand and fail to even grasp what he said because all they look at is stats and the constant narrative of “who’s team is it” “percentage” etc

@@user-ni1vt8nm4qyea, best scorer. You saying he never scored more than 55+ points disproves the narrative that he’s selfish and takes too many shots. He’s anti selfish actually. He’s not selfish enough to take that many shots to score 70 points. But you’re fooling yourself if you don’t think at any point in his career he wasn’t capable of scoring 70-80 points. He didn’t do it because it’s not apart of his nature. To score that many points requires selfishness.

@@thesecond8187 bruh stop telling players what they should or shouldn’t have done. Nothing is guaranteed. It’s general consensus that if Kyrie didn’t go down against the Bucks they would have won that season. Of course we can speak in hindsight now. As great as he is he has had shitty luck and unreliable teammates mainly kyrie (covid fiasco) and harden (from OKC days to his injuries in the Bucks series) and that white 3pt shooter who kept missing open shots in the bucks series. If you ask me, the Bucks series KD got the most respect because he single handedly almost got them over the eventual champs. Just a toe size prevented that in game 7. Let’s see you stay at your job not achieving what you want your whole career then we can talk.
