Beverley set the defensive psychological tone for his team. Win or lose, it was effective in making the Warriors uncomfortable throughout the game.

Say what you want, but they pay him to get as close to the line of assault when playing defence as he can get without fouling out too quickly and he's certainly effective at it. Clippers won that game because of him tbh. If you had an entire team of players that could get back on D like that they would either win championships or lose to the team with the highest free throw percentage :D.

If you happen to actually know basketball you might realize that beverley is trying to make the warriors not feed the ball to KD and this is actually the x factor that got clippers back in the game and killed the warriors momentum.... You see guys like beverley apart from being top notch defenders and great 3 point shooters actually now how to handle the tempo of the game...... and that's why they have a place in the greatest basketball league in the world

I hate KD. But KD will survive in 90s. 7 foot 230cm wingspan who jumps high and super quick will of course survive in 90s it is laughable to think not. And the league does not protect KD Pat Bev holds KD hugs KD these action will be fouls under modern rules but many of them are not called. KD still managed to hold on. This Pat Bev is today’s most tenacious defender put this defense on 90s it will still be good too. Even Gary Payton says he love Pat’s defense. Stop thinking “if KD cannot survive Pat Bev what will he do in 90s” cuz even through current Pat Bev back to 90s standards, he is still at top tenacious level.Just straight up stupid think Pat lockdown KD or KD will not survive in 90s. And stop thinking 90s is some UFC background. It is just plain basketball which more physicality is allowed. KD will be an alien there cuz too much height weight wingspan speed finishing skill and shooting. Only Rodman and Pippen had a chance on him. He will struggle in a few games in a series but will just dominate scoring when he find a way to. Remember Grant Hill torched Pipoen before KD will too. And I am a Lebron fan I hate KD I say fuck KD everyday

No one can stop him...Kobe and several other players in the NBA say he is the toughest player do defend.
