In 2000, KG talked about what it was like when he first met Wilt Chamberlain during the 1997 All-Star Weekend in Cleveland.
KG was 24 years old here in this video. KG also portrayed Wilt Chamberlain in the 1996 HBO movie, "Rebound: The Legend of Earl The Goat Manigault" :

Wow. Wilt Chamberlain was great. It's easy to see how impressed Garnett was w/meeting him. I'm sure he was in AWE. It kinda reminds me of LeBron James telling David Letterman that his meeting Michael Jordan was like seeing "Black Jesus." Wow, wow.

If Wilt would’ve had a coach like Phil Jackson he would’ve won every season they worked together.

He (and Phil) still would have needed other talent. Phil Jackson was a good coach but his teams never won a championship without multiple star players.

Don't forget that Boston had 8 HOF's on their team with guys like John Havlicek coming off the bench for some of those championship team. Wilt only had 3 HOFs ...

@Alan Aldpal "Phil Jackson was a good coach but his teams never won a championship without multiple star players." Those same teams and star players he coached did not win championships until he came along. Exceptions being the former Piston and Celtic players that joined the Bulls during their second three-peat. Fourteen titles in his career makes him the GOAT of all coaches in any team sport.

He did have some bad coaches. He had good coaches later in his career. A Wilt led team did set the record for most regular season wins in that era two times.

That's awesome your games are pretty similar in defence I think Wilt had ya offensively and KG was no slouch on scoring prolly the best mid range big man I've ever seen
