Crazy cuz me and my girl broke up bc the relationship got too heavy. I ended up texting her on her birthday cuz I knew ida felt some type of way if she didn’t fast forwards a week later we agree to meet and we just talk and vibe, then we ended up going to the club. She was maad crying and shit telling me how hard it was in life for her and I was tryna be tough and tell her don’t cry. Shit eventually I broke down and told her I got back into doing drugs to forget about her and just focus on my career that was booming. We just got real personal and she said all she wanted was to lay in my arms. Then she just kept apologizing and saying how she loves and misses me. Fast forward when it was time to go our separate ways I told her I ain’t want her to leave. Man she said sumn bout our pride and I sent her this song...WHOLE NEW MEANING! Just sumn to bring a lil sun to this gloomy month

This song is beautiful. It has made me cry several times. That's what music should do. I've never been to prison, never killed anyone. But that's the beauty. This speaks to us as humans, speaks to the emotional spectrum we all experience. I hope Kevin does his time uneventfully, gets out, and is reunited with his family and is happy. If we get some more incredible music out of it, great! But if not, we'll have this forever.
