Kevin mentioned on his podcast that this material wasn't his best and due to covid he hadnt performed in almost a year. He went on saying it takes months to put a stand up together and try jokes etc. The blokes were right there were jokes he could of build on but without any feedback he left em. I'll be seeing him 2 weeks hope it's good lol

Kevin's issue in comedy now is that he's no longer relatable with his success. I have only seen Chapelle and Pryor be successful in comedy while doing "celebrity status" material because they both somehow made it relatable. He's still amusing a bit, but he used to be really funny.

That happens pretty often sadly. Kevin Hart is so overrated. I know comedy is highly subjective but I never found him funny.

@@willvr4 I totally get where you're coming from. Keving was never the most thought provoking, never had super clever bits, and really knew how to repeat a joke into the ground until it was almost cringe. His story telling and physical humor were probably his strongest suits, but even that was mediocre. But for me it was his humility and willingness to speak on all his insecurities I found funny. These days everything is "I'm so famous and rich" squeezed into every bit.

@@user-lf7nf3kl7t I get that. But to me I feel like if he wasn't a borderline midget, he wouldn't be received as funny. He is a really hard worker and deserves everything he gets though, I'll give him that. But I'd never pay to see him live.

Not really, he spoke up on this special. He said it was different because he didn't get to try anything out due to covid. Thats why it's called no fucks given, ideally he said he test material and alters it for 3 months. I can tell this is just stuff needs trying. Seeing him 7/28 I bet it will be funny.

@@iamworthy1302 This goes back several specials and years my man. Many feel this way about Kevin. I have been a fan of his since he was an up and comer hanging with The Cellar guys back in the early 00's. Of course as Will stated it's all subjective and I know he has a far larger fan base now than ever. The direction he chose to take just really isn't for me anymore.

The blokes missed the context with the “tape” bit… it’s addressing his sextape. His friend taped him, he had to get the Feds involved. Also it’s not long after he got married. So the story is a double entendre …

Please watch Multiplicity. It's my favorite comedy. Starring Micheal Keaton and it's the same director as groundhog day and Ghostbusters. Highly underrated

Blokes, you should look for Conan plays video games, a guy on his show plays them, and then will show Conan how to play, and Conan self admits he does not play games at all. funny!! I am essential worker, so I was working the whole time, and yes in the states it was great driving to work, it sucks now, too many ppl forgot how to drive it seems! And over here the police basically were non existent on the roads, ppl would talk about being able to drive on the interstates like doing a hundred, nobody around at all.

Kevin is still a funny guy, but his stand up has gone down just a bit, likely bc all his time is spent making movies now a days! I still love him, but his priorities changed Again I will say, react to “let me explain” specifically “let me explain guy code” is hilarious 🤣

Nah, if it's true then it's probably just the natural curve of comedic fame coupled with changing public interest. I don't think making movies would make him less of a comedian. He became a comedian because he was funny. Not the other way around, right?

I made it about 20 minutes into this special before I shut it off. His stand up just isn't funny anymore. He is still funny off the cuff, but his material is lazy and boring.

Covid is still out there. My friends parents both got covid coming back from Jamaica. Her mother is in hospital right now. She got monoclonal antibody therapy. Hopefully she will be ok. As I said before Kevin Hart is not funny
