When we had the Olympics here Down Under in 2000, we had 2 guys do a very “different” commentary to many Olympic events called “The Dream - With Roy & HG”. They proved to be very popular with visiting athletes & they followed it up with similar shows for the Salt Lake City Winter Games in 2002 & the Athens games in 2004. They didn’t drop any F bombs like Snoop & Kevin did but were just as damn funny. Any of my fellow Aussies here will know exactly who I’m talking about ✋️😂

I remember “go you good thing” also, especially when John Farnham came on to sing it one night & found it hard to sing without laughing. I especially loved the gymnastics... All the classic moves - The “hello boys”, the “banging of the sav” & the “closing the back door” & not to mention the “Dutch wink” ... I LOVE THEM!!! I still binge watch the DVD’s of each quite often ☝️😂

@@natashamckay7996 ... I’m in NSW & at the time of the Olympics, I was working down by the waterfront on Sydney Harbour at a train station (I work for the rail network here). We had so many people asking us about the guys, especially the Americans & Canadians, often asking “are those guys for real?” 😂😂😂. My response was “DAMN RIGHT THEY ARE!!! They are as REAL as one can possibly get” ☝️😝. I’ve been a fan of theirs since I first heard them on Triple J in 1987 calling the football grand finals (NRL & AFL). Their commentary is magic, especially when they’d focus on at least 2 or 3 players in each team & just bag them unmercifully in hilarious fashion ✌️😂

Kevin Hart made me laugh involuntarily a few years ago. For Super Bowl LII he rooted for Philadelphia over New England. He is a lifelong Eagles fan so it was understandable. The next year he went all over tv, saying he was rooting for Kansas City over New England in the AFC title game because Pateick Mahomes is a person of color, then after New England advanced to Super Bowl LIII against the Los Angeles Rams he went all over the sports networks supporting the Rams. Then after the Patriots won he went to the Patriots team bus and told Brady that he's a fan. At least Snoop Dogg showed Brady some love after the comeback won against the Falcons.
