This video is a collaboration with Kevin Heiderich whom you might know from his insane cover videos or his work as a live guitarist. In this collaborative cover we decided to keep everything as real as possible. So this is basically one drum take and two guitar takes recorded on top of that with no cutting or editing involved. The drum sound is, as always, natural with the kickdrum sound being a mixture of trigger and mic. So this is essentially a "live-playthrough" if you will.
As a sign of appreciation for the tasmanian devils in Psycroptic we did this to honor their musical achievement. Enjoy!

Maaaaan, great works guys!! Kevin nailed Joe's tone. Wonder how he accomplished that.

Thanks man, though I think my tone is inferior to Joe's. It has a few unpleasant highs and not the same punch in the low end. But I do think I got close. That re-entry at 4:59 was sloppy af! And the mix needs more mids. 150Hz 1.5dB Q0.6 600Hz 3.5dB Q1.1 2kHz 1.8dB Q0.25
