Lucas is toooo dreamy..... he runs away to help friends rebuild a school after a hurricane on the show and in real life he saves puppies! All this sweetness I have just put on 2kgs!.....Go Team Lucas❤️

Not a Mountie as the life is too dangerous and Elizabeth has to worry all over again. I have a son called Lucas so I’m partial to that name! Lucas is also keen to know what makes Elizabeth so good -interested in her and men often aren’t so keen to know what makes women tick

I love the show, both actors are great, but I am all for Lucas because I feel season 8 will be Jack and Elizabeth all over again.

No one wants to see Jack and Elizabeth all over. Since we never saw Elizabeth's day to day married life and there are children involved it has to be different. Plus the characters are different now. Elizabeth is definitely stronger, more confident etc. No matter what the writer's choose I'm sure it will be new and exciting.

@Zsuzsanna Varga: Haha! I am not team Lucas or Nathan, but see Lucas as a better choice right because he is not a fixer upper. I went with a mature, reliable guy in real life too, never regretted my choice. He is like Lucas with Elizabeth: looks after me and shares my interests.

@@dladair8245: I think Lucas has much netter character development than Nathan. He started out as the guy on the run (which didn't work out great for him), but turned out he was running because he was a decent guy helping out a lady in a bad situation. He pushed the saloons interests first, but listened to the locals and respected their wishes. He jumped the gun and sent in Elizabeths writing withoit permission, but learned from it and haven't stepped over the line since, always asks Elizabeth for permission for anything involving her. Nathan came onto the scene as the God Guy, which is hard to top.

They both look alike with beards. Elizabeth will find it hard to choose between Lucas and Nathan. I think Elizabeth will fall for Lucas. Another mountie to love is too much for her to bear after Jack's death. Hope more seasons to come. I miss Abigail, Cody and the pastor. Bring them back to the show.

Since season 6 the last episode the eye contact between Nathan and Elizabeth I was then 100% #teamNathan. However, in the episodes of season 7 I feel that Elizabeth will probably pick Lucas because it seems that there is more scenes between them. He was also the first one at the door giving Elizabeth flowers.

Both great actors think it was the best choice Lucas but now am invested in what will happen for Nathan cuz it was painful to watch Liz turn Nathan down. Chris is easy on the eyes but watching this I think Kevin looks better outside of the show

Jennifer Chapman I find Lucas boring with his ridiculously cheesy lines and over done romantic gestures. Eye roll 🙄. Nathan is exciting! He is great with kids and would come out of his shell even more knowing Elizabeth is with him exclusively. Lucas is not a family man, has no interest in little Jack and likes to win, not find his person.

Nathan is the hero in this story, putting Elizabeth with a saloon owner is like putting Lois lane with Lex Luthor while Superman sits on the side lines alone. Nathan's love is true and genuine not a fantasy/fairy tale like Lucas.
