Kind of agree with Shawn. Maybe not with the way he said it, but they spend over 300 days a year on the road away from family, 90% of the job is travel, your friends become your family and traveling with them makes the treacherous schedule more bearable. People are saying Bam Bam was respecting kayfabe, but it was clearly more than that. Seems like he had issues with those guys.

Even though Nash is being critical of Bigelow here it's interesting to note that the latter has spoken fairly well of the near 7 footer. In the three hour interview Bigelow stated that away from the kiliq Nash was one of the most personable people you could meet and that he was only ever really a prick when he was with them. Actually he claimed that he once saw him being practically bullied in to behaving like one presumably by Michaels! So with this in mind I'm assuming Nash and Bigelow got along fine it's just that when it comes to your friends or acquaintances you don't necessarily recognize when they're being unreasonable or foolish.

HBK would only talk to Bam Bam like that because he knew if Bam Bam would have beat the daylights out of him (like he should have/would have), he would have been fired.

To be fair to Bam Bam, he had a good point too. It's really a difference in eras and mindset. I will say this, though, I've seen a lot of Kevin Nash interviews and he has a lot of old school views based on when he was brought up in the business so it's surprising he acted like Bam Bam was so dumb for suggesting what he did. I literally just watched an interview with JBL not too long ago where he said he wouldn't even let them sell tee shirts with his name on them because a true heel doesn't have fans. He didn't want people seeing all these kids wearing his tee shirt and having people think "Well, JBL must not be that bad if he has all these fans."

I got to trick-or-treat at Bam Bam's house on Halloween the year he headlined WrestleMania 11. He was living in a house in Willimantic, CT around that time. I remember him growling "NOW TAKE SOME CANDY AND BE HAPPY!" kayfabe-style. Good time to be a kid. A shame I didn't get his autograph. Would've taken that in place of candy even then.
