For someone who is suppose to be so smart this is such a stupid thing to do. Appearing to endorse a company you haven’t thoroughly vetted is about as stupid as one can be.

I agree. It is more about the perception here and many clients of this exit company will think this is some kind of ringing endorsement when it is no more than a gig to make some extra cash... Thanks for watching Doug!

Timeshare exit seems to be possible for little money reimbursement. Based on my limited knowledge it does seem possible to sell your ownership, I haven’t seen any material reimbursement though, the sale if you will. One big benefit to selling though does seem to be getting rid of annual maintenance fees.

Generally there will be no money reimbursement. Timeshare exit is just a big ripoff. The company takes your money to do what you can do yourself for free. If they happen to get any money for the sale of the timeshare, the company keeps it. They don't send it to the owner. The best way to get rid of it is to try and give it away to someone else for free. Perhaps even paying closing costs and even giving a free year of use. This will come out cheaper than paying some exit company thousands of dollars. If that doesn't work, sometimes default is the only option and let the timeshare company foreclose. This may or may not have negative consequences on ones credit.

@@DestinationTimeshare yes agree. And I might add, to date over these 20 ish years, I’ve been happy with my timeshare and received good value. A time will come, I’m afraid, and we will need to unload. Perhaps my kids, as long as they can support the maintenance fees. If someone would have given this to my wife and I that when we got married, wow, what a deal that would’ve been. See what kind of financial shape my kids develop, they’re still young, 19, 15 and 12. Not sure why you don't think I see it for what it is. Unfortunately the people who go to these seminars won't see him as an actor. Most have no clue what Cameo even is.

Cameo is a gold mine for shady businesses. It's sad that the like of Kevin O'Leary just wants to make a couple of dollars for a silly selfie video

I looked up info on Cameo and it seems they keep 25%. It hardly seems to be worth the time of a multimillionaire to earn $1,125. Especially when he doesn't do any research on the companies he is reading these scripts for.
