@@martinplatts6922 that would be great down the road but the grid can’t handle these electric vehicles. The electric vehicles are having problems. It’s a short term fix to a long-term problem that we need to address maybe by 2050, there might be something down to the infrastructure and then maybe by then we can slowly get away from fossil fuels. It takes time it can’t happen, overnight degree can’t handle the electric vehicles now this is the problem they’re not telling you about the grid the grid cannot handle it. California can barely handle the air conditioners.

Three years ago on July 2021, the WSJ reported that the Saudi Owned MOTIVA Oil Refinery in Port Arthur, Texas (NATIONS LARGEST REFINERY) CANCELLED their $6.4 Billion Plant Expansion which would have lowered thre price of gasoline after Biden Nixed the Keystone Pipeline. Thr City of Port Arthur, Texas lost 5K jobs as a result. The Institute for Energy Research reports, eight US refineries have closed since 2020 citing uncertainty over future gasoline demand.

The Chevron decision tells Federal Government that only Congress has the job to compile regulations and write those regulations and requirements into law. Congress needs to do its job.All these agencies in the bureaucracy are not necessarily needed, if Congress does the work .Instead of political fights and having time to play games,your focus is to read data yourself and question experts on things important to America to render laws that sensibly apply to produce fair outcomes in a common sense way.Unfortunately most folks in Congress are lazy and stupid.We can rid ourselves of those by voting collectively in a common sense manner that benefits everyone.

EVs are in the same category as big hair, pet rocks, bell bottoms, and stirrup pants! They are a FAD!! They sounded great on paper, but the infrastructure needed to support EVs is NOT there at the moment. A recent study that I have seen indicates that a growing number of electric vehicle owners plan to switch back to gasoline powered cars! Fun fact: The mining process to get the metals required to manufacture the batteries for EVs is NOT environmentally friendly!! It's a terrible tradeoff!!!! FJB FEVS FDEMS

You badly need updated refineries all over the United States, especially in California where they are hamstrung by ridiculous legislations that is making it so expensive to modernize that frankly oil companies are giving up. And how is that helpful?

If there was a good alternative, we would change to it in 20 years or less. happened with whale blubber and wood. We aren't switching bc it isn't good. Good = at least as cheap, as safe, and equal to more energy per unit weight.

The US should be completely self-sufficient in anything from energy, food, Finance, education call my manufactured goods, medical devices, medicines, etc And then we can export anything that we don't need after stocking up some supplies
