Im Panamanian, Im NOT Swichting sides, With all due respect, that Referee needs to go. The Goal was Offside and Not Shaking hands with Pulisic, UNPROFESIONAL & UNACCEPTABLE, my respects USMNT.

When the US had an advantage, the ref called a stop for a handball, but when the refs gave a yellow card, he let's Uruguay player start the game right away.

No, the play was supposed to stop when that yellow card was given. Found it strange that they gave this rookie ref an important game like this.

to be fair in the grand context of the tourney this wasnt suppose to be an important game. It only was bc the US choked vs panama. In reality he likely got this game because of the presumption it wasnt going to be important and thus was a good game for him to have.

He needs to get fired. Such unsportsmanlike behaviour should NOT be tolerated to any degree. I personally hadn't noticed that whole potential offsides thang because I had just seen the highlights of this show, but it's a very close call. With the way it works wwhose AI machines they use to tell if a player was offsides is that they make exact images from the video and set the offside line.

Let's be honest... the US should have played better against the other teams before this game. That being said, Kevin Ortega's calls were ridiculous.

Yes the USA were poor in all 3 games but the referee in 2 of those games was suspect for sure nothing new though

There was also the play where Uruguay hit the ball with his hand but he played advantage and right when Pulisic got by his defender the ref called it back😂

Referee Kevin Ortega displayed clear bias throughout the entire game. Leaving millions of American's wondering what on earth they were watching. Nonstop no calls for Uruguay and calling everything even slightly possible on the USA. Even the controversial goal has now been deemed to have been officially offsides.

Yeah maybe some hatred or bias towards the USA for some reason. When you're a referee your supposed to be neutral and refusing that handshake from pulisic was crazy. The offsides was so tight the quality is still trash with images in 2024 those images should be crystal clear with the cameras and equipment they use.

I am not sure if that was offsides or not. It’s very debatable. But if you are are teasing me and then want to shake my hand, I will not give it to you. Every human being will react the same way. Pulisic really needs to take a good look at himself because he was awful in this tournament. That was not the Ref’s fault.

Never seen a ref blow the whistle give a yellow then play advantage once the yellow is out the ball is dead. That was controversial and suspect.
