Lil'Wayne was teaching himself to play. I give him alot of credit for trying. He's got serious balls! And I love him madly. I can just see it now. Me at a Lil'Wayne concert. The only 62 yr. old white chick in the front row screaming and throwing her lace panties at Weezy's head, singing along to every word of his songs. I fell hard for Weezy the second I heard LET IT ROCK, so I started learning everything about him and listening to his other works. I really don't like alot of rap stuff very much. Its just not my thing. But Lil'Wayne's music I really dig. I truly enjoy his solo work and his many collaborations. And, OMG,,is,the boy handsome!! I love his face and hair and ink, although I hope he stops the tats to his beautiful face. He,has just enough the way it is now. And this song turned me,on to this guy. I've come to learn that he's a musical savant from about the age of 4 yrs old. He is beautiful and musically brilliant. I love him right up there with CSN&Y, Alice in Chains,,Soundgarden, Scott Weiland, and Radio head. Can't wait for my first concert!! 💘

2024 A Sensory Superpower As it turns out, getting chills from music is not as common as you might think. Researchers from USC released a study that suggests that only about 50 percent of people feel things like shivers, a lump in their throat, and goosebumps when they listen to music. What's more, those people might have very different brains than those who don't experience those feelings. First, they gathered 20 people and had them listen to a selection of their favorite songs. Whenever they felt a chill, they pressed a button. All 20 were then given MRI scans - and the 10 that reported reactions were obvious standouts. Their brains turned out to have a much higher volume of fibers connecting their auditory cortex to the areas that process emotion. More fibers mean that those two areas of the brain can communicate much more effectively. It also means that, because their emotional processing centers are beefier, those people are more able to experience extreme emotions. A Feeling of Frisson This study might shed a light on the causes of the phenomenon, but it's been well documented for years. Actually, it even has a name. The phenomenon of chills or goosebumps that come from a piece of music (or from any other aesthetic experience) is called frisson, and it's been one of the big mysteries of human nature since it was first described. That's because even if we know the actual mechanism that causes frisson - a close connection to the emotional processing center - we don't know what purpose it could serve us. But other studies have suggested some potential benefits of this kind of behavior. One report from 2007 found that individuals who experience frisson are more open to new experiences than others, and other studies described higher levels of creativity and intellectual curiosity. In other words, the appreciation of beauty is central to what makes us human, and frisson is just a super-charged version of that appreciation.

@@Doctor-Stoppage100 percent. I was a teen when I realized music has the ability to do this. At times I feel euphoric and high listening to music. It’s like the rest of the world pauses. Everything slows down. Just you and the music. An intense yet calm feeling throughout your whole body. It’s hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it.

Wayne don’t get the love he deserves he’s such a mf goat. That flow, that voice, that delivery, the cadence. The way he’s able to hop on any beat and change a frequency is so crazy. Arguably could called him the actual goat

@@janjamesramos247 I agree with you. People will say that it's a psychological thing, just an illusion, but it seems like a real change to me. My favorite artist is 3 Doors Down, with their biggest phase being when I was a little kid. Their songs were emotional and deep, about strength, hope, love, being a good person, serving people and your country and appreciating those who do. It felt meaningful, and it reflected the values I was brought up with. That's why their music is still my favorite at 20 years old. I'm not hearing new music like that anymore.
