Kevin Smith is why Good Will Hunting was made. He got the boy's script to Harvey Weinstein (rip) and told them they had to make the movie. But Ben has been a feature in Kevin Smith movies since mallrats.

I didn't even know they were 'back together' until I saw him in 'Reboot' ^_^ Ben's scene seemed to be very cathartic to him, at least to me. All of his speech to Jay about Family and what's really important could be applied to Ben's life as well (makes me wonder if Kevin let him write his own lines for the scene?)

I really F'ing love that Larry King did his thing right up until the very end. Dude loved to interview people, and when they took his main stage he found another. Definitely a love of the game guy, probably why he lived to 163.

i am curious yeah but i'm not gonna ask him about it either, to take a guess it was Jennifer Garner as she cannot stand Kevin Smith, reason being is like Kevin Said he's a really candid kind of guy very blunt and honest and swears like a sailor like i do. :) and he's got a sense of humor that while is kinda dark like me :) but at the same time you could say he talks like someone in high school as well cause on how he talks she prolly didn't want him around her kids to take a guess. i dunno if i'm right but this is just guesswork, and Jennifer didn't want Ben around him at all but since they are divorced now... they are friends again, if you want a good cry no joke watch Ben's video on when Kevin and Jay got their feet and hands done in California it's a really touching speech actually

seems like a good time to comment that "Dogma" is one of my favorite films. I liked "Strike Back" too, but it was so talent laden it was hard to decipher the story, if there was one. Good job guys - enjoy your work

Kevin has such a Big Heart Im glad he reached out to Ben hes been going through a tough time in life w depression and alcohol. It was the Perfect time for Kevin to reachout and help a friend👍

“ I gotta big mouth”. I bet dollars to doughnuts it was the essay kevin wrote about Mewes and his drug struggles which included a lengthy and not flattering bit about Affleck in rehab. When I read that, all those years ago, I was like “...yikes.”. Kevin seems oblivious sometimes and I could absolutely see that being the impetus.

Theres some strong rumors about it being related to ben's former wife. But honestly who even cares, lets not dig into it, what counts is they got over it and let the past be the past, lets hope they do some fun new movie together some time again. Chinese theater was a great look into how both are happy to be on speaking/playing terms again, lets keep it that way.

Kevin is who he is, the one guy in Hollywood at the time willing to give Affleck the lead role in a movie I think Affleck realizes that now that his woman is no longer around trashing Kevin

Awesome to hear. Bens a great actor & an amazing director, Kev’s a great obscure director.... together they just work! & Ben should be proud of his work in recent years. Argo was absolutely superb & quite frankly Ben is tied with Keaton as my favourite Batman.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kevin and Ben reunited about 5 minutes after Ben's divorce from Jennifer Garner, but we'll never know what caused the rift in the first place, which occurred about 5 minutes after Ben's marriage to Jennifer Garner.

And to this day, year is 2030. There are rumours that kevin is still cutting larry off. By the time kevin had done speaking. Larry died 5 years prior to finishing his story.

I dunno. While I'm sure lots of old friends checked in on him because of it, or replied sooner than they otherwise would to his messages, with Affleck, bear in mind he never checked in on Smith originally in the first place. So I think he truly would have messaged back as soon as he would have, heart attack or no heart attack. It seemed like he truly missed Smith's friendship. This whole story made me message some of my old friends I'd fallen out of touch with and they, too, messaged back without there being a huge tragedy to spur it. With some people, all it takes is a "Wanna hang again sometimes? It was nice before, and I miss you now!" to make them realise they feel the same. And, based on the true love in Affleck's own voice at Jason/Kevin's handprint ceremony, that seems to be the case here.

I don't understand what Larry is doing or why he is doing it. He doesn't _need_ to do this show, so the best guess, initially, was that he did it to talk to people he was interested in talking to, like Dave's Netflix thing. Then I saw Morrissey on his show. VegemiteBalls it’s so dumb. Kinda like how Sandler won’t dress up for talk shows; he just shows up in sweat pants and a t-shirt. Like, come on. You are grown men now. I understand wanting to stick it to the man when you start getting older in your 30s and trying to be punk or rebellious and wearing hockey jerseys and track pants to fancy things. It’s almost cool. Not really. He isn't a particularly high esteem dude and said that at the time of his heart attack he was super self conscious about his shirt and then pants being removed to see what had to be done to save his life because being almost always clothed was his defence mechanism for being out of shape. He is a warm human being - for that reason he can wear a worse jacket if he likes and he will be more pleasant to listen to than many
