If Burton really lifted it, it wouldn’t be the first credible accusation of theft by him-after _Mars Attacks!_ came out on video, Howard Stern stated on-air that during the first week he was on the air at WNBC in 1982, he and coworker Fred Norris had created and aired a segment entitled "Slim Whitman versus the Midget Aliens from Mars", which Stern proceeded to re-broadcast as proof. The segment depicted Slim Whitman's singing used as a weapon against invading aliens, and the planet becomes a wasteland. Stern confronted Burton on the air about it a couple years later, and Burton responded, “Oh, wow! You should have sued me.”

Well at least Kevin Smith made movies because he had a passion for them. All Tim Burton does is take an existing property then gives it the gothic look he has in all his movies and puts it in the theater. He hasn't made a unique film like the ones that started his career in over a decade Tim Burton movies are more Products than films.

Yes, the Nolan Batman did kill. He did kill Harvey. However, if people had paid attention to TDK at all, they'd remember during the interrigation scene, the Joker tells Batman killing is making a choice. You choose one life or the other. And thats what Batman did. He chose to save Gordon's son because there was no saving Harvey. So yes, in that sense, Nolan's Batman does kill.

Read my comment again. I said " In over a decade" Scissorhands- 1990 Nightmare- 1993 Corpse Bride- based upon Jewish folklore with a similar plot found in the "Shivkhey HoAri" Frankenweenie- Originally a short made in 1984 by Tim (fun fact this actually got him fired from Disney for being too creepy) now being remade into a feature film. So not only is it something he made when he was being very unique It's a preexisting property that he is remaking and giving a gothic makeover.

I'm not very political so I'm not exactly sure what happened to him to turn him from that version of himself to the current version now. Because it's not age.. Kevin was a grown assed adult then and now, so my only guess is he wanted woke Hollywood to accept him more so he changed everything that made him down to earth, relatable. and fun loving.

Damn, a lot of people in the comments missed a lot of the points in this video. Let me spell it out for you. Smith didn't say anything about being mad at Burton. He seemed surprised that Burton got so pissed and made things so personal, but that's all the feelings he expressed toward Burton. If Smith got mad at anyone, it was the guy who wrote the article. According to this story, the initial conversation was humorous, but the writer changed it into more of a serious thing once Burton responded.
