I also thinks as quite relatable to hear the point by Kevin about the importance of getting comfortable with being uncomfortable - helps to calibrate the relative thinking about what to expect in day to day life.

Fascinating interview, really appreciate hearing about Artifact. So interesting to think about how discovery helps people explore their interests as well as gain new ones, and then have social interactions following that. I’m curious how that will work with the social features talked about for Artifact. Relatable point by Kevin about analogy to flying of trust the instruments, not how you feel about it. As well as the points about recognizing that mistakes and repeat mistakes happen, and the importance of accepting that while also making adjustments/corrections quickly. Thanks!

Curious that they seem to be obsessed with the "scientific method" when the only time they didn't use the scientific method (pivoting to Instagram) was when they truly innovated. Nothing at Instagram after it joined Facebook/Meta was truly innovative in the way that the idea for Instagram was. Perhaps the scientific method is why Artifact appears fairly unoriginal. Maybe true innovation has to come from the gut, not data
