Okay Chicagoland, Here is why you don't move on from JF1. Baker Mayfield and Jalen Hurts. Let me explain. Mayfield comes out of college with all the grit and tools of a star but languishes in Cleveland and Carolina looking like a bust for years until he meets McVay and looks good and then gets a shot on a team that was built to help Tom Brady win. Now he has his team in the second round of the playoffs. On the flipside, Hurts is given accolades as a potential MVP candidate and looks like a world beater on an Eagles team with a great O-line, Receivers like Brown, Smith and Goedert and a stellar Offensive Coordinator in Shane Steichen who leaves to take a head coaching job and hurts looks like, well he looks worse than JF1 this year. Fields has the tools and athleticism and most importantly he has the drive and temperament to be our star QB. We have a chance to build around him over the next two years with incredible draft capital and a GM that is showing he can find talent. The Bears future with JF1 is so bright it is blinding as long as they can bring in a talented and creative OC who can call plays, which Getsy was not. And idiots in Chicago talking about trading JF1 for a pittance to take a chance on a prima donna like Williams? And you all want to drop him because Love got to stand in a pristine pocket and throw to wide open receivers for the past two games. We don't deserve nice things!

Been a fan for 50+ years. IMO, this is the best front office the Bears have ever had in that time. Be thankful. At least these guys have SOME football knowledge.
