John Thaw is a legend, but Kevin Whately carried both Morse and Lewis. He is a grossly under appreciated actor.

lol I don't believe that! What about the time between Morse ending and Lewis beginning?! Also if you have a great job like Kevin does then go away in the winter instead?!
