The problem with these shows is every time they reference something - a comedy album, a scene, a character - I have to break away and go watch it. It takes me a week to get through a single KPCS episode… But it’s a good week.

Pollak is the best show on any streamed TV system,network, or station ect. The BEST. Hope to G-d maybe he will have interviews of musicians someday! Maybe that’s a long shot but I would love to be interviewed by this man! He is hilarious and endlessly smart and talented! Josey Scott / Saliva

9:58 I'm thrilled to hear someone else mention Wainy Days! I loved that show, but almost nobody remembers it. It was the first proper web series I ever watched, even before The Guild and Pure Pwnage. Did KZfaq even exist back then? I seem to remember having to watch it on a dedicated web site.

Love the show. Sound is better this time. Getting a bit tired of the buffer bit. Dead air. Good chat with Paul. Great T5s from him, and brilliantly terse Larry King.

I cannot help wishing that PRs parents had stayed in London, then he would have had an English accent and still been the nicest cutest bloke. Mind you, he probably wouldn't have been so famous!

James Hodson It is an opinion, just like yours. I prefer an English accent.
@thatmanckid8 жыл бұрын
Mad Maggie no, that bit's fine. but why wouldn't he be as famous? marketing the englishman to an american audience is incredibly popular, especially within comedy because they're seen as the epicentre of the comic "relief".
@madmaggie71638 жыл бұрын
James Hodson I thought the Englishman was the evil one. There is a smaller industry in the UK and a lot of actors never even try for Hollywood, or the US in general. They can still be highly successful in the UK.
@thatmanckid8 жыл бұрын
Mad Maggie i know, i'm english. and you should too. jude law, russell brand, ricky gervais, stephen merchant, eddie izzard, john cleese, sacha baron cohen, hugh laurie, nick frost, simon pegg, steve coogan, roy atkinson, matt lucas, lee evans, chris o'dowd. and i'm only listing off people from the past like 20 years. i mean, james corden replaced craig ferguson (another from british soil) on his late late show last year. all of these comedians are fucking awful, apart from coogan and cleese and i'd maybe give cohen some time of the day, but my point is, all throughout history, the englishman has been there as an indefinite and definitive point of call.

Reprisal, Kevin? I believe a new production of an old play or similar work is called a revival. Or was the new version of the play retaliatory in some way.

Okay, that's it! - Q: "Alien" or "Aliens?", is asked. A: "I like the one with Sigourney Weaver better." Sigourney Weaver was in BOTH movies, and her acting career was literally 'launched' with the original movie. I'm so ripped apart by this obvious 'Sigourney-facts-faux pas', that I'm thinking of gestating in both of your bellies/chests, then popping out as an alien/hybrid Jack Nicholson in 'The Shining', gleefully exclaiming, "Heeeeere's Johnny!'' Though the sequel indeed WAS like a one-woman show for Ms. Weaver, this is still, inexcusable! ... and it's gonna make me lose sleep for weeks to come, no doubt; if not months. I do hope your both very happy. (By the way, just to be clear, I'm NOT, nor am I of any relation to, the director of the sequel. So don't even go there! Just imagine if I was, though ...)
@rizzorc473 жыл бұрын
I can’t tell with your tone if you’re serious about correcting Paul’s “faux pas” or not. But I think that was his joke. She’s in every Alien film.

@13thExit Strategy No, no relation. It's a common name. No, the closest I ever came to "directing", was trying to direct an old lady across the street in downtown L.A., during mid rush-hour traffic. Her lawsuit against me, is still pending...
