Sweet go kart. I recently picked up a frame similar to yours. What are some tips on how to make a seat for it?

Just curious, but after heating, bending and drilling holes for both ends, did you re-heat the back part, quench it, then temper to relax the mild steel? It could break when you don't want it to. Just a thought as I have seen dozens of shows & videos where the process of heating to non0magnetic state, quenching, then gently heating to purple / straw color removes the hardening set into the metal. This is done after shaping to keep the now brittle part to be stronger. Otherwise, same system on my current job of fixing my sons go-cart for his kids, but using a "Bell-Crank" pivot to achieve high mechanical advantage for stopping pressure by foot.
