Kevin, just found you site. You do excellent work and explanation of the repairs you do. My in laws have a 2001 txt that currently is turning over but will not start consistently. I have driven the cart quite a few times this year and notice I have had to use the choke at start up all the time even when hot. Now, if I pull the choke out fully it may start and run alittle but not long. I changed out the spark plugs. But have done nothing else. Any thoughts that you are willing to share I would much appreciate.

We’ve been watching a lot of your videos trying to troubleshoot our problem. We have excessive gas gushing out through the air box. We’ve removed and cleaned the carburetor. When we close off both fuel lines it still gushes out. Not sure where the source of fuel is coming from. It will turn over...when it starts to fire gas begins shooting out. We’re at a loss...ideas?

I am currently working on an EZGO older model cart. I replaced the ramp buttons in the secondary clutch and all seems to be working in order, however i am having some issue's with the primary clutch engaging. Do I have to remove the engine to get the bolt that holds it in?

You think like me with regards to the engineers who designed this stuff. My feeling is that they will never have to do any of the repairs so what do they care what is inconsistant with industry norms? I also think that someone in material control could have said, "Hey, we can save 5 cents per cart if we don't use red wire." lol

We just got new batteries. Tested them testes selinoid, checked Reed, lights come on but hold cart will not move. What can it be?

I have a 1996 txt ezgo it smokes and I was told it might be cause I added to much oil. how much do u put in these? Any other ideas? I adjusted the valves new plugs every tried sea foam no luck.
