As a lifelong RC (cars, helis, planes) hobbyist, I think Kevin perhaps best understands this hobby, it's about having fun. I've been a big fan of his videos ever since I discovered them years ago. We need more people like Kevin in this hobby!

Kev, I'm not even into RC cars, planes or Helis. But I watch your channel for your great attitude and motivation you give me. Your "don't care what anyone thinks" attitude is really inspiring and when I feel down or low in motivation, I stick one your videos on and you bring me back. Don't ever change.

You are definitely not a douche,you are one of the most entertaining rc KZfaqrs around. I just bought my wife her first rc car,an arrma infraction mega. The smile on her face when she was running it was priceless. I showed her your video of upgrading it to go 60 plus mph,and you got a new fan. Keep up the great work,always a good day when you put out a new video,it lets me forget my problems for a bit and enjoy the hobby even when I don't have time to run my own rc cars.

I am an airline pilot. I can tell you, hands down, RC airplanes and helis are way more fun than the real deal. RC is a bunch of grown men playing with expensive toys, have fun with it and help each other out. At the end of the day, it’s not a job and you’re not in it, it’s just for fun.

I’d take a page from Whistin’ Diesel’s book. Take what the haters hate the most and dive head first into it. Or really just keep doing what you do, the vast majority of us love it. You always put a smile on my face and make me realize that I don’t have to always act like the grownup that I am.

I'm a helicopter person. Your last video/tutorial real-flight thing was quite good for a beginner I think. I haven't been on Heli Freak in a long time though. ( not for any reason though, I seem to be able to figure things out without any forums or groups these days, usually there is a youtube video somewhere on whatever I'm trying to do )

I couldn't agree more with Kev's comments. I use race 1/10th rc touring cars. I jacked it in after 15 years due to big mouths trying to run the club. Completely killed it for me.

I got back into the hobby last year after nearly 20 years and found your channel, I started watching your friends channels too. The videos were invaluable to me. You made me want to buy an Xmaxx and I did. I have been having a blast with it. I have a Pro-boat impulse also and it is a lot of fun too. I say ignore the haters and have fun.

keV keep doing what makes you happy. Your heli skills blew me away. I tried the smaller ones and they are not easy. Then I saw the things you were doing and I was like..."Whoa!!!" Now that's how you do it. You got me back into RCs and seeing you fly got me thinking helicopters. Instead of being salty they should be thanking you for bringing interest from fans like me who never gave them a second thought till I saw you getting crazy and getting back into it about a year or so ago.

I’ve been watching your channel for a while now and never commented before, but I think you are 💯 correct about the rc hobby. I’m in my late 50’s now and have tried all the rc hobbies out and it’s always been about having fun with toys. As long as you are safe with them who gives a toss what other people say. Some people need to get a life

Ask Tony if he can start your monster truck on the first go. I wish you liked 2wd trucks, the 2wd arrma granite voltage mega truck is amazing when changed to brushless. You should do a video on cheap cars,trucks and crawlers you can upgrade for cheap. Love the videos keep it up!

This little series has been fantastic 😂 Keep doing your thing. I literally check KZfaq first thing when I settle down after a long day. When you have a new vid out it makes my day better. Really does. If it didn’t. And I didn’t enjoy watching your vids, I just wouldn’t effing watch them. Super simple. Don’t feel the need to lash out at someone because of how they do their dang KZfaq videos. These trolls and envious folks really do try to bring others down. I think they find camaraderie in it on the forums. “If I act like the arrma fanboys they’ll like me”. That’s enough waffle

If Kev wants to set fire to all of his toys then he can, and doesn’t need your permission to do so, nor does he send you a mandatory watch order. I used to build and fly freestyle fpv but the community just became so toxic I got away from it and started messing with the RC cars again. There is toxicity here too but it seems like there's an extreme amount when it comes to planes and drones and helicopters pretty much anything that flies it's kind of a bummer because I enjoyed it. I still mess with it from time to time but I don't involve myself in the community at all anymore

I used to work with someone who thought he knew everything, he also needed to feel that he was better than everyone else. We used to go racing after work and he spent around £300 on a rc touring car (4wd), tuned motor and a decent set of upgrades. i bought a nice cheap rc car ( some upgradable parts / 2wd) for £25 and could kick his ass every time. He didn't like it and gave up. Sad really. 😆👍

I only have one issue, and that is bang for buck. In that only category, traxxas fares poorly, even arrma fares better than traxxas though they are also terrible value for some. I would wager that the big majority does not send their rcs' to the moon, or even bash them that hard, as most hate to spend tons more time fixing them than actually playing them.

If you gave 50 people a hundred dollars each there will always be that one goober who has to complain and ask why didn't you give them more money then talk about you as if you ripped them off! Kevin, you only need to look at your subscribers and how much people like to see your passion. The less favourable folk shouldn't tune in if they dislike your channel so much; no one is forcing them. The "customer is always right" is Victorian nonsense. I have been in retail for almost forty years and know it is impossible to please everyone. Keep on with your enthusiasm and love for the hobby.

Kev, try RC Talk, I’m on their (same username), and the guys on there are quite nice and kind, very little hate and negativity IMO! RCT has been around for nearly 20 years now, and still going strong, that might give you a hint as to how well it does. I think you’ll find some good stuff on there! Cheers, Isaac

Kevin, the negative folk are prevalent in every hobby! I too have a Defender and am in an off-road online society. Haters there. I have a VW splitscreen and that group is the same. Some people never matured from the pubescent 'my group' mentality they had at school. They will never be happy

My interaction with flyers have all been negative. Non want to answer questions and freak out if you get 10 ft from they plane or heli. The only guy that has been cool is a guy from my local hobby shop. He invited me to go fly with him and it was a blast. To many know it all's that know nothing!!!🤣🤣🤣

anyone here remember squirrelod? he used to make RC videos ages ago. they weren't the best but OK for that time. then something happened and he gave in to the trolls and haters and ended up stopping and deleting all his videos. Jang from Ultimate RC also did good and objective reviews. he also had a lot of haters and trolls but he says he only stopped because he didn't have anywhere to do drive is RCs anymore. I found Kevin some time ago and wasn't subscribed for some time but kept coming back because the videos are fun!
