I miss Kevin talbot. The more and more videos I watch of him the more I love the hobby. Crazy because I never had interests into rc cars. Always liked drones and cars but Kevin really introduced this hobby. Very grateful for him.

Overvolted RC cars!!!!! Classic Kev videos! My favorite videos!!! 80mph!!! Wow and it was reasonably controllable unlike the overvolted X max! Cool love the videos. I have a RC car that I would recommend. It’s 1/18 scale, cheap at $80 or 63£. Durable. Fast at 22 mph or 36 kph. And all parts that you could possibly break are replaceable at $10-$20. The Maxx Slash was my first real RC car, followed by the Felony. Both have been incredible, and I am more than happy with these two vehicles. Their performance is truly impressive.

What REALLY helped me get mine to 70MPH smoothly every time with the body on is I tapped a deep 15mm impact socket to the front bumper support. Helps keep the nose down and still handle well without sacrificing suspension travel.

Love the max 6 in the maxx slash, I did the same thing and mounted one up when my esc gave up, I put the wide maxx kit on mine and it jumps and drifts even better.

You need to make a wing that you can retro fit to the front of r/c cars. Then sell it to everyone that speed runs, take inspiration from pikes peak or hillclimb. They always seem to flip.

I got a 3s lipo for my slash 4x4 vxl, shredded the spur gear, replaced that, and then shredded the PINION GEAR. AND THAT WAS METAL

Kev, at 7:00 where the camera was all choppy, I think it is a button in the top left, there is a number, and that shows the FPS you record at. I think you hit that and it brought the FPS down to 24 frames. That's why it looked like that. (Only if it was recorded on an iPhone)

should have asked the cop if she was able to use her radar gun verses the gps and see which one was more accurate! most officers are decent people and are willing to go out of their way so long as nobody is "technically" breaking the law. cheers! see you in the next vid!
