What I'm looking forward to most in 2023 is finally getting to learn my dream car, and owning a car worth working on. This is my second car, and my first one was a Prius, and the car I learned on was an SUV. So driving something RWD, and so much faster and lower than the cars I've previously driven has quite a learning curve. So far I've unwillingly lost traction once taking a turn too fast. And having a car that actually allows the user to work on it is amazing. When I had an issue with my first car that basically bricked the car, it turned out it needed a software update. So I'm glad I finally have a car that I can pursue my passion with and be able to learn and grow as a person and as a car enthusiast.

Kevin, glad to see you landed on your feet! Planning on buying your overlays once the weather warms up enough to be able to install them properly in New England. But my real goal for this year is to take a week and drive down in Charleston SC and spend some time with my son who is stationed there for the navy. Hopefully he can get away for the weekend and we will head over and drive the tail of the dragon! Will be great to spend time with him, but have not decided if he will get to drive my new baby or not.

The black in the engine bay looks sick. For my car, I can't wait to convert it from Atkinson cycle to Otto cycle. Got the camshaft I need, just need to actually do it (gonna get help since I can't find how to loosen the timing chain tensioner)

In August last year, I ordered some 57CRs in 18x9.5 Glass Black. I got 3, Last one was back order... eta moved from March 2023 to August 2023. I've recently decided to order another set from another shop in Las Vegas. So the thing I'm looking forward to most this year is finally getting wheels and tires on my GR86.

Honestly mostly just looking forward to the spring time. I'll be doing headers and likely a tune in the spring, and the early spring cars and coffees are my favorite part of the year. Gonna cash in on that HPDE day as well some time soon!

Hey Kevin! I love all your content and gr86 videos that I got one myself! First manual car i've ever owned/touched, and I'm one of those people who got one without knowing how to drive one lol. This year i'm looking forward to a new duckbill spoiler, cold air intake, axleback exhaust, lit kits from Lit Logos & Velossa, and so much more. Also the warm weather but Alaska's been warming up a whole lot recently. But yeah, I've finally started the hobby i've looked forward to since i was a kid!

I hope to get in some autocross or track time in this year. This will be the first time ever doing this. The BRZ is a very special car to me, and have done things I have never done before. These titanium dress up bolts will make it that much more special.

Looking forward to pulling the oil pain and maybe getting the Tomei oil pan baffle and the Jackson racing oil cooler upgrade so if I do go do autox or track time I'm getting good oil temps and not starving my engine.

Personally I'm looking to see how much a turbo setup would benefit this new 86 vs the old one. If it was apple to Apple comparison I think it would be cool to see. I haven't seen any one else do a video on that. An in depth video series or one video would be sick IMO. I'd watch it either way lol

Great Video Kev. I didn't even know that I wanted titanium dressup bolts for my BRZ. Turns out I do! This year I plan to do more dressup on the engine bay with some carbon bits and maybe hood struts. I'm a big fan and always stoked when you drop a new video. Keep it up!

Very excited to finally fix my suspension issues I’ve had for months starting with endlinks and then installing BC coilovers since my front struts are doing nothing at this point. Then after that getting an exhaust system upgrade for sure.

Going to finally be taking my STI out to the track this year, got a few mods to make it a bit more reliable going in this year. AOS, Radiator, Oil pan and pickup, and cyl 4 cooling mod.

I too live in the Midwest region and once the warm weather hits, I’m excited to turn my Corolla Hatchback into a mini GR Corolla look-alike! I work for Toyota, so obtaining parts should be easy. But I can’t wait to do something that hasn’t been done yet, since the GR Corolla is super hard to get, even for a Toyota employee 😂🙃😂
