There are mainly three types of boundries: 1. Between two continental plates - froms mountains 2 . between oceanic plate and a continental plate - reduction zone is where the oceanic plate submerges under the continental plate. 3. Between two oceanic plates - one plate (the more dense one) submerges under the lighter one

SurlyPenny hey those are the sub types of convergent plate boundaries . The actual three types are convergent when two plates move towards one another (sub three types ) Divergent boundaries where plates move away from each other (two types) Transform boundaries where plate slip past one another !
