That drummer has got some chops. The keyboard player has good rhythmic sensibilities, wouldn't surprise me if he's a drummer too.

rhythmantic - Sal D'Amato most keyboard players have good sense of rhythm. Hell most people who play instruments and are good at it have rhythm

Hey my BRO! . Agree on your assessment. Most drummers I know (me included) have a pretty easy time at simple piano chords and melody lines. The independence gained from drumming transfers very nicely to keyboards (after all a piano IS a percussion instrument) . I can HARDLY brag about my keyboard playing but I compose on Keyboards with NOT a lot of difficulty. I mean it is hardly "clean" pitch perfect but good enough for a real keyboard player to transpose to what it was I had in mind. Hoping all is good with you !

While piano and drums are very different instruments, as a student of both instruments I can tell you that there are a lot of shared qualities. Primarily the rhythm (no duh). It would not surprise me either way if the keyboardist is just a keyboardist or if he plays percussion as well or if he is only a percussionist.

Fleetato drum rolls are beyond easy. It's literally mainly thumb and point finger and the others lightly stuck.

This is great. For live shows and stuff an acoustic drum set is better in my opinion but the keyboard drums here were pretty spot on.
