I think they both look good! And they are very well built, I am sure you will like it. Is it your first mechanical keyboard or first Topre?

@@Kiyoboard It's going to be my first Topre! I've spent a few years alternating between MX Black and Blues. I've always wanted to get a Topre but never felt the need to replace my main boards. Now that I've sold my MX Blues since it was just too loud.. I felt like it was finally time!

@@Kiyoboard It just arrived! I ordered a used from a seller on Amazon JP, but it turns out they sent me an older variable Realforce (model number SJ08B0)! Honestly, I only paid ~$140, but since it's in good condition and my first Topre, I'm gonna keep it. It's only been 10 minutes of typing on it and I just wish I bought one sooner.

Personally, I prefer the 2.2mm APC option. Btw, Realforce R2 PFU Limited Edition is the best keyboard in the world.

Hey, sorry didn't get notification for your comment. This should feel the same with hhkb type s, so if you expect different feel then it wouldn't be good choice. I haven't used hhkb but I would think they would sound quite different.

@@Kiyoboard May I ask how about the texture, the feeling when you touch the keyboard. Heard that these Realforce R2 key caps are made of PBT not ABS. I would like to purchase one in near future because the shiny oily mechanice keyboard I am using that I am hating my keyboard alot. I remember the old feel PBT keyboard so much.

@@midorihibiki It is very smooth. Personally I don't like the textured feel of some keycaps so I like this one a lot.

@@Kiyoboard Hey I bought one, the Topre Realforce R2 fullsize version Ivory color 55g. The feeling texture of the high quality pbt keycaps are definitely better than cheap abs keycaps lol. I am still bad at typing about 40-60 wpm but the keyboard makes me want to type again lol. It's expensive for a keyboard but it has build quality that most of gamer keyboards out there do not meet and more comfortable to type on this keyboard than my old Courage MX keyboard which makes my fingers and wrist feel tired lol. Thanks anyway.

Kiyoboard i actually prefer the typing feeling and sound with pbt caps. However if it’s color/ overall aesthetic you are looking for then you want abs.

PFU edition only comes silenced.

It is due to them being silenced. They feel fairly smooth.
