Nice review! When testing games try to be in exactly the same scene next time, for cyberpunk being in the city vs somwhere open is a huge fps and therefore response time difference. ... except if fps where capped and stable now that I think about it...

That is very good advice! I forget why I went to different locations. I usually make sure conditions are the same across the board, so something must've happened.

Hey, m8! I'm very close to pulling the trigger on the Q1V2 and I'm guessing it's quite similar to the K8 in terms of latency. I am honestly afraid that I'm going to make the wrong choice with getting it since I'm used to very low latency, such as that on Logitech boards. I really like everything about the Q1 and was wondering if it'll be an issue to play League/fighting games etc. In your opinion? Thanks a mil in advance!

I have used a logitech g pro keyboard for around 2 years now (cherry mx blues, not hotswapable) and got kinda sick of it. Now the thing is that I play valorant where strafing matters a lot in fights and reaction time is often the key to be successful. Would it still be a good keyboard for that specific game?

I'm no FPS pro by any stretch of imagination, but from a casual, I just have to make sure to play wired to get the best latency.

That CP2077 score looks kinda scary for the Keychron..

I think it really is just the way the game handles inputs. I don't think it's the K8's fault. In hindsight, maybe I should've tested with something else lol

@@BimBurger Do you think the latency on the Keychron in wired mode is low enough for competitive games like Valorant or CSGO then? (obviously not professional level, but still)

@@a.r.1611 Yeah for sure. It's what I use now - I'm not a pro but I don't notice any latency difference between this and the Logitech I was using previously.

@@BimBurger Nice! The RTINGS latency tests (11-14ms measured vs 1-2ms for most "gaming" keyboards) are the only thing that's been keeping me from getting a Keychron, might go for one then!

@@a.r.1611 I mean it is slower for sure as you saw in my tests but you can't really physically tell the difference unless you're some kind of superhuman.

It still isn't as good as a gaming keyboard, but by an imperceptible amount. Just don't use it wirelessly maybe - then it becomes a bit more apparent.

Enthusiast keyboards are drugs! You start with the base Then the keycaps Then the switches Soon enough you'ss be spending $500 to make stupid 30 key keyboards that have no real life use case! ... I want one though.

Oh god I certainly hope not. I find keyboards that go over $300 with no cutting edge technology is ridiculous. There's this new one worth over $300 and the only thing special about it seems to be the brand and that it's fully modular. It's insane.
