Above all else, major kudos for FFG or whomever for releasing these during the quarantine. This was just super cool. I always wished MTG would release a solo creature / enemy to play against, obviously with adjustable difficulty. Star Realms has a standalone expansion that includes a handful just like this and it's very enjoyable. Even if the Keyraken has it's faults, it was FREE and you can get a real test of your decks solo. Super cool. Also, of course, thanks for doing such a specific video. I know it won't get a ton of views, but I really appreciate it, since this is my first foray into Keyforge, and from the looks of it, will be playing mostly solo, since nobody around me plays it.

RULE ERROR - Several times in the video I subtract the Keyraken's armor from EACH attack. It should instead be a total subtraction from damage each round. So I would have won faster :) 0:00 - Introduction 1:08 - Overview of Play 4:04 - Playthrough

Armor in Keyforge is consumed on a per-turn basis, so once you break the Keyraken's armor for the turn, you won't have to keep reducing the damage from other attacks-unless I'm missing something and they changed things for this encounter.

This is a very enjoyable mode after some competitive games or if you want to try out a new deck. In our experience creatures with armour (like Sanctum) are great against the Keyraken since they can tank their damage and steal/capture can keep it from advancing. Great video as usual.

Where did you get your Aember? gemstone thingies? I wasn't to buy those to use for my own games. Thanks.

What a crazy game. Great job Mike. I am still on the fence if this would make Keyforge enjoyable for solo-only. I think it still lacks some variety in this regard.

I hope they bring out a proper procedural coop variant, that would make me pull out my keyforge decks again for the first time in years!

aww wish there was a review of the solo

I never take advantage of print and play options for games since I don't know how to get them printed on good paper or game stock to make them look decent. I wouldn't want to use plain paper. How do you go about to getting the print and play printed on cards stock? What stock should I get, thickness, how do I cut, etc.?

@17:35 - when it atacked your strongest creature, wouldn't that have been Lietenant Khrkar, with a 5 power rating? How does this rule determine "strongest creature"?
