they undermined their own careers when they added the non amish dressed as fake amish to degrade themselves that was not comedy and it hurt them. The concept of culture clash would as a premise worked if they as observers to reaction to music did not add the fake non amish to be degrading to the people and culture it sheds a bad light on them as artists if they degraded the amish for malicious intent as the only humour would be to see them react to modern music the fact they has no cultural reference for the twerking garbage the band added to be degrading then was not funny and as a result cost them a favourable opinion. It is difficult enough for canadian bands why they do things to undermine themselves to hurt amish why? Just them interacting would have been enough they took it too far degrading them for no good purpose. They failed to have hits after because of it. Sad , they should have avoided being mean to their video subjects. The amish are getting unfairly portrayed by many canadian people in the business lately sad when they the ones who as of recent had agendas to exploit people. The amish are generally pleasant people they just avoid the technology to avoid being subjected to an onslaught of images or antireligious values.

why do i still love this video so much... I went to a mennonite farm market the other day, and I couldn’t help but think of this video. Couldn’t remember the name of the song at first, but it finally came to me today. This will always be golden! It was a middle school favorite of mine. I wish I could’ve seen some of the residents at the farm breakout like this😂❤️ this video really is art to me though!!
